The easternmost of all the manors mentioned in this book is Veliki Bukovec. It is in fact not situated in the Croatian Zagorje at all, but in the Ludbreg Podravina region that soon after Veliki Bukovec becomes Koprivnica Podravina region. Veliki Bukovec is in the plain, about ten kilometres to the north-east of Ludbreg, between the rivers Plitvica and Bednja, not far from their confluence with the Drava. The manor house in Veliki Bukovec was built between 1745 and 1755 by Count Josip Kazimir Drašković. The baroque Classicist manor is one of the largest manors in north-western Croatia.
