Short Desciption
Few towns in the Croatian Zagorje had two manors. One that did was Bela, in which two country seats, both belonging to the same family, stood one beside the other. One was built in the seventeenth and the other in the eighteenth century. Oroslavje also used to have two manor houses, three hundred metres from each other. Today the baroque portals leading into what were their grounds mark the end points of the present town centre. The Oroslavje manors did not belong to the same family, nor were they built at the same time. The older, southern one, Oroslavje Gornje (Upper Oroslavje) burnt down and all that remains of it today is the garden and the baroque entrance portal. To the north stands the Vojković manor, Oroslavje Donje.
Oroslavje Donje (Lower Oroslavje) was built at the end of the eighteenth century, between 1770 and 1790. The manor has not been put to permanent use. Sitting vacant since the end of the 1980s, when a health care station moved out, the manor is uncared for, falling into great disrepair.
